My Red Hat chapter decided to visit Santa this year and figured that he needed to be on the receiving end of the gift giving for a change. We told him that we knew he had been good and deserved something special.

We presented him with a personalized bag that had "Santa" spelled out on the front containing some hot chocolate mix, a candy cane, and his very own musical instrument - a kazoo, the official instrument of the Red Hat Society.

To be sure he could play it, we asked him to give us a sample and he promptly hummed several fa la la la la's for us. His genuine smile and ho ho ho told us he was surprised and very pleased.
