Peace in the New Year

If animals can work it out, why can't humans?
Roxy, my 8-year old Minature Male(Severe) Macaw (with me since he was 5 months old) met Bo, my new 5 month old male Yorkie/Poo puppy in mid July when I adopted him.
Truly a tough beginning. Roxy was not happy to share any part of his apartment or me...for that matter. Roxy's alpha male behavior came out in full force. He would literally come down from his cage on foot (he can't fly) and chase poor Bo into a corner laughing like a wild hyena with outstretched wings. What a sight it was!
Search for Roxy4Utube at YouTube.com. See "Love Bites". Bo, being very shy and fearful of everything when I took him home, became terrified of Roxy, especially after landing a few of those bites. I was in despair, fearing for the worst, at any given moment. But, with the Holidays approaching, I was determined to get these two natural foes together somehow.
Well after 5 months, check it out. While still very wary of each other's "differences", they managed to sit together for our Holiday card this year. Roxy is now throwing a small soft ball to Bo who fetches it and brings it back for Roxy to throw again. We're working on a new video for You Tube. I think I have the stars for a new TV series.
What do you think?
