Anni give Santa a big Hug

My daughter Anni (3) simply adores Santa. She says that he's the nicest man ever because he shares his toys, even with naughty kids that cry a lot, like her baby brother.

We went to see him at our favorite Mall and she waited very patiently and quietly in line (1.5 hours!), which is very unlike her, usually. She knew he'd be watching so she didn't want to spoil her chance at getting her BIG Christmas gift which is a Dora Bike with matching helmet. When it was finally her turn to talk to him, she was star-struck, but managed to tell him what a good girl she had been all year and that she always shared her toys with her baby brother (not really) and that she DESERVED her bike & helmet...among a lengthy list of accessories.

When Santa asked if her baby brother AJ (1) had been naughty or nice, she said, "oh, he's been naughty. He cries and tries to get all my stuff. I think you can bring him a little toy and that's it." Santa said, "Hmmm... I see. And how about Mommy, has she been a good mommy?" The little bugger said, "Yes, she's a good mommy, but my daddy says she doesn't need anything because she has everything and besides, she hasn't been naughty enough. I don't get it." She shrugged and shoulders and Santa let out a big belly laugh.
