We Saw Santa Claus

Christmas is such a magical time of year for the little ones.Santa Claus, the elves, Rudolph and the other reindeer are some of the things that are so magical and endearing to children that make the season extra special. It is the children believing with their little hearts that make the spirit of Christmas so magical for adults as well. Children keep the spirit of Christmas in their hearts year round, not just at the holidays. Children grow up so quickly which is why it is so important to me to capture those special moments in pictures to be remembered generation after generation.

Baby is a Rough Collie. Ethan is my two year old grandson. They are the best of friends. I took one look at the expressions on both their faces in this picture and knew it could be created into an awesome Christmas picture. Expressions always tell a story when you gaze into a photograph and this picture has the perfect expression!

Santa Claus is a huge part of our families traditional Christmas. Even the older children in our family still "believe" in Santa Claus. It is the same type of belief adults have at Cristmas time keeping that special Christmas spirit going year after year. Every Christmas Eve leaving treats for Santa and Rudolph, knowing the children are laying wide awake in bed waiting for Santa's visit that only happens once a year. Laying awake just hoping to get that one quick glance of Santa is every child's dream.

Christmas is a very special time of year for my family, yet we like to keep the happiness, thoughtfullness and kindness within our family year round!
